Harmonized System Code known as HS Code is a description and coding system developed by the World Customs Organization (WCO)

It covers over 5,000 commodity groups, each identified by a six-digit code. The system is used by more than 200 countries as a basis for their own customs tariffs and for international trade statistics, learn more on HS Code

There is a setting for this field which is:

1. HS Code Prefix/Postfix

Shopify only accepts 6-digit Harmonized System Codes. To match codes with the prefix "000", define it as "000". For codes with postfix "0100", defined as "0100$"

For example:

Prefix: In the feed file, HS Code with Prefix (A123768), so type as 'A'.

Postfix: In the feed file, HS Code with Postfix (123768A), so type as 'A$'.
